Welcome:

Welcome to the official DDP blog site. We have so much going on in the Digital DawgPound that we thought that it would be a good thing to have a centralized place to announce things. As it stands now, we end up announcing things in the forums, the main binrev home page, my personal site, or any number of other places. This now gives us a centralized site to post all things DDP related.

What will be posted here:

1) Project announcements - Official announcements of completed projects will always appear here first! If you want to keep on top of releases (sites, articles, programs, etc…) always check here first.

2) Project updates - Because we have so many projects ongoing as well as in development, we have had problems in the past with some projects being delayed. While we sometimes mention these delays or problem on BRR, we wanted to be able to share more detail with the users.

3) Rants - Things that just really piss us off. As we work on things, we find problems with software or processes that frustrate us to no end. This is where we share those frustrations with the world. It helps us vent and it lets you know about vulnerabilities that we find and limitations that we encounter so that you don’t have to go through the same thing.

4) Kool stuff - We come across a lot of “kool stuff” as we work and some of it is pretty obscure or too geeky to get a lot of attention. This will be a place where we share our kool findings of software, web sites, or other interesting information. This is pretty much what every other blog in the world does, but we do it from a hackers perspective.

All of these things will be categorized and you can browse by category by clicking on the category list on the side of the page.

Who will post here:

All current DDP members are eligible to post here. You will notice on the side of the page that there are links to each DDP member so that you can look through their individual posts. By default, all posts are placed on the main page and posts will appear in the order that they were added with the newest posts showing up at the top.

Conclusion:

So welcome to the blog and feel free to post comments as replies to individual posts. We welcome you all to link to us and use our RSS feed wherever you see fit. All DDP created blog content falls under this creative commons license which is similar to the one that we have been using for years. Content that resides on another site may be different, and you should check each individual site for more information.
