New hosting and new server
0 Comments Published by StankDawg April 8th, 2007 in Events, Hardware reviews, reviewsWe have been bouncing around from company to company for the past year or so and I think we have finally found a “good” hosting company for a change. They are giving us a powerful server at a fair price along with full management, which will help us to maintain the server so that [...]
New server…same attitude!
0 Comments Published by StankDawg January 27th, 2007 in Kool stuff, Project announcementsIf you are reading this, we are (hopefully) over on our new server. We are in the process of cleaning up a lot of bugs and problems along the way, so bear with us. Please DO NOT contact us about any specific bugs yet because we are aware of everything and are working [...]
The future of BinRev?
4 Comments Published by StankDawg January 7th, 2007 in Project announcements, Project updates, RantsWell, this last round of rolling outages and server problems were pretty much the problem that I was most worried about. It appears that BinRev has outgrown its server. Counting all of the sites on the box, we get over 15,000 unique visits per day. That equates to more hits than I [...]
Willhackforfood.biz offered free disposable email accounts, unfortunately due to abuse we had to disable it a couple of months ago.
I made an attempt to get part of working again today. At the moment it does not do very much apart from allow you to create accounts, and view the raw mail messages, without any mime [...]
Here’s my (very informal) write up about my experience on the Fall 2006 Von exhibit floor. It highlights my favorite vendor booths at the conference. Overall, I had a really good time at Von and was able to pick up a ton of brochures and various reading materials from vendors which helped me [...]

I asked him if he had some kind of PocketPC device and he replied he had an T-Mobile SDA.
“Well…” says I “… I could [...]

Binary Revolution IRC Networks
0 Comments Published by Dr^ZigMan April 29th, 2006 in Project announcements, Project updatesSince our exodus from FreeNode we were temporarly left without a home for our IRC friends, however that will no longer be an issue! We have just finished sowing the seeding for our own IRC network, “BinRevNet.”
So far we’re running four servers (shouts to verbal, Dr_Locke_Z2A, and mo0- for offering up three nodes) and [...]
HackTV Underground is OUT
1 Comment Published by droops April 20th, 2006 in Project announcements, Project updatesThere was some confusion about show numbering, but now there is an official HackTV:Underground episode number 1 out. Its a quick bit about taking an semiauto airsoft gun, making it fully automatic and much faster (15 shots in less than a second).
Many thanks to the Infonomicon Computer Club for getting the ball rolling [...]
